The flag is made up of white silk cloths and it consists of five different colour rings interlinked with each other. The Olympic flag was made under the suggestion of Baron de Coubertin in the year 1913. This motto also suggest that the winner of the competitions will be the one who runs the fastest, who jumps the highest and who is the strongest. The motto consists of three Latin words- Citius, Fortius, Altius, which literary means Fastest, Strongest and Highest respectively. The Olympic motto is very simple yet innovative and it was Father Didon who came up with this motto in 1897. Only nine countries participated but the outcome and impact it left to the world was unbelievable. It was in the year 1894 Baron conducted the first modern Olympic Games in Athens after getting the worldwide support. At last Baron's struggle bear fruit when most countries agreed to give his idea a try in the Paris meeting of 1894. He held many meeting around the world across many countries while some countries agreed to his idea whereas some opposed. He wanted to bring international harmony, peace and fraternity and he thought Olympic Games will be the best way to bring about these changes in the whole world. Hercules killed him and took over all his properties and kingdom. King Aungeas refused to give up his property and declared a war on Hercules. King Aungeas blindly accepted the condition but later he regretted when Hercules cleaned the whole big stable. Hercules cleverly accepted his punishment putting forward a condition that if he was able to clean it properly then King Aungeas will hand over some part of his animal property. King Aungeas wanted to punish Hercules for his misdeed by making him clean his huge stable properly without leaving behind any dirt in the stable. Another story relates Hercules and Aungeas, king of Elis with the beginning of the Games. When Hercules, son of Zeus came to Olympia, he started the Olympic Games to honour and marks the coming of this father to the land of mortals. They immediately build huge temples to worship Zeus and offered animal sacrifices in the temple to satisfy the Zeus. The people of Olympia got frightened with the fury of Zeus. When Zeus stepped foot the ground, the land spitted into various pieces owing the furious anger of the God Zeus. One of the most common stories about the origin is the coming of Zeus to the valley of Olympia. Some of the stories relate Greek God Zeus with the beginning of the Games while some stories relate Hercules, son of Zeus to be the one who actually started the Games. There are various stories related to the origin and the beginning of the Olympic Games. The International Olympic committee organizes the Olympic Games on the scheduled countries and they also decide the country, time, venue and everything related to Olympic Games. Olympic Games is held after every four years in the schedules countries. Sportsmen from various countries compete with each other to hold positions and earn honour and respect for themselves as well as for their country. Olympic Games is the most recognized and reputed international game event where various indoor as well outdoor games are conducted.
